St Paul, MN, August 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Home Video Studio – Celebrated their 8th year in business with honors by receiving the Presidents Award “Best of Show” and four additional Hanley awards at the 10th annual Home Video Studio (HVS) Getaway in Las Vegas, NV. The Hanley Awards, HVS’ version of the Oscars, recognize achievement in the video industry.

Studio owner, Kirk Douglas, submitted entries into 14 Hanley award categories and waited to hear the judging results during the weeklong training and awards Getaway. Early in the week, the top 3 nominations from the judges were announced and included 7 nominations for Home Video Studio – Eagan. These included “Cut & Paste- Best Editing,” “Best Memorial Video,” “Best Sports Scholarship Video,” “Best Use of Green Screen,” “Best Video Production,” and “Best Studio Tag.”

Home Video Studio – Eagan stepped up to the stage 4 times during the awards banquet receiving the top award for “Cut & Paste – Best Video Editing,” “Best Memorial Video,” “Best Company Promotional Video” and “Best Studio Tag” categories. Home Video Studio – Eagan stepped up to the stage, one final time, to receive the top honor of the event – the Presidents award for “Best of Show.” Women of the Wild Outdoors Season 1 Finale had already received the “Cut and Paste – Best Video Editing” award and was then selected as the best of the best for 2010. Studio Owner Douglas, performed the editing tasks for this unique outdoor hunting and fishing TV program that is produced by Allseasons Outdoors, Elko, MN.
