The second new VIP service is exclusive VIP items. These are only available for purchase by VIP members, and can be accessed by checking the VIP Items filter box on any search results page. These are among the highest-demand and most competitive products on the China wholesale trading platform, and often have substantial discounts on the normal price.

VIP members are determined by total cumulative, as well as ongoing purchase volumes. For example, buyers who make at least US$1,500 worth of purchases within a 60-day window become silver VIP members, and maintain that status if they make at least US$700 worth of purchases in each 90-day period after that.
