Bayer MaterialScience LLC Expands Sales and Distribution Network for Baycusan® Polyurethane Cosmetics Ingredients
Pittsburgh, PA, September 04, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Bayer MaterialScience recently added EES Cosmetics Solutions to support Baycusan® polyurethane cosmetic ingredients sales in the East Coast region. EES Cosmetic Solutions joins Bayer MaterialScience Key Account Manager for Cosmetics and Personal Care, Judith Krantz, and distribution partners The ET Horn Company in the western states, McCullough and Associates in the Southeast, and The M.F. Cachat Company in the Midwest, in marketing the Baycusan line.
Krantz brings more than 25 years of experience in formulating and promoting specialty chemicals to the cosmetics industry to her position and is based in New Jersey, close to the hub of the cosmetics industry.
“We are creating a strong network to support the introduction of our novel Baycusan line across the NAFTA cosmetics industry,” said John Brandt, head, CAS Specialties Business NAFTA, Bayer MaterialScience LLC.
Baycusan® polyurethane products are specifically designed for the cosmetics industry and offer a number of advantages over conventional polymers. They contain no solvents, making them environmentally friendly. They can be used to formulate skin, hair care and decorative cosmetic products that emit little or no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Baycusan® thus gives cosmetics producers great latitude in the formulation of their products. Film properties can be adjusted: from flexible to hard; from waterproof to water vapor permeable. Baycusan® also contains no preservatives.
