Hope Parkinson Center to Host "Art of Moving" Event with Orthotic Specialist Foot Solutions of Estero
“Art of Moving” Lunch & Learn event for those living with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners. Presentations by a Physical Therapist and Certified Pedorthist. This is a free event and is open to the public.
Fort Myers, FL, September 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Hope Parkinson Center of Fort Myers, a division of Hope Hospice, will be hosting a Lunch & Learn event on September 17th, educating those in Southwest Florida living with Parkinson’s Disease and their care partners. Event is entitled “Art of Moving,” and will include presentations by Physical Therapist, Jeanny Csuy and Certified Pedorthist Chris Cole. Csuy will be presenting on topics including the importance of movement and exercise for Parkinson’s patients, how to react in the instance of a “freezing” episode, and the importance of proper support and footwear. Prior to the event, Certified Pedorthist Chris Cole of Foot Solutions Estero will speak specifically about the proper biomechanical support in footwear and how to ensure proper foot health.
