Opened with an art exhibition from renowned Saudi photographer, Her Royal Highness Princess Reem Mohammed Al-Faisal, the event went on to cover a broad spectrum of real estate related activities ranging from finance and technology, to standards and legislation.
The president of Jumara, a member of the Real Estate Committee at the Jeddah Chamber and host of the evenings event, Shoooq Alsalaiman, advised that while the meeting was not the first of its kind, it was a new concept for services associated with this industry.
She highlighted the fact that the state has recently adopted a plan to create a million new housing units over the coming years in response to demographic challenges posed by a population growth rate that exceeds 2.3% and with 60% of the population being under the age of 40.
