Cape Town, South Africa, September 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- When it comes to promises the web offers them all. They tend to be all too similar at times too.
The promise of money or gifts or some kind of incentive seems to grab the attention of millions of internet users from around the world trying to earn an extra buck.
This is not the case with the latest in web developments to be offered soon by South African entrepreneur and founder of Wiown.com, Hendrik Eybers.
This self proclaimed “Social Reality” network is slowly starting to capture the minds of people following its updates on popular Social sites, Twitter and Facebook. Status updates and feeds of it came up on Monday.
“Social Reality is here…" Reads just one of many Tweets from @wiown on Twitter.
This new concept seems to promise something more and something different, change and excitement.
Wiown founder, Hendrik Eybers, had the following to say about their latest developments.
"People have ideas all the time. We all have had some good ones at some stage. Ideas are mostly prohibited from realizing due to a lack of knowledge, skill or funding. We are looking to bridge this gap with Wiown.com."
According to Eybers "lost ideas could have changed the world and contribute towards a struggling society far earlier.
“We cannot afford to lose ideas as we need them to create jobs in a time of worldwide recession.” he also stated, "It is something we can all relate to and should certainly act upon."
Eybers said he cannot reveal the exact extent to which they will be doing things, however did say that they took the Crowd funding model and combined it with Social Networking.
"This should be enough information to stimulate the imagination of those who are dreamers from across the world," he confidently adds.
Eybers continued, "We are a Start Up based on the principal of profit sharing towards our users, but with a twist.”
He carries on by saying, "It is the stuff that dreams are made of, literally."
He then reveals some basics behind it, “We received no Venture Capital or Angel Funding and therefore owe no one anything; we can afford to contribute towards the people that will help create us. We are positive that everyone out there will want to be a part of something unique and exciting that offers value. They already proved that with Facebook."
The audience this network will target, he adds is "Everyone legally entitled to be part of current Social Networks."
Eybers go on by saying that "Life is full of great thinkers, big dreamers and forward thinking people willing to contribute towards a better tomorrow.
"In a way it will always be something we all started and in a sense all own, hence Wiown.com," said Eybers.
The company and its CEO seems to have high hopes towards making a success of their seemingly well planned endeavor.
Their model seems to be a unique one and the eyes of the world will remain firmly upon it till, and beyond launch day.
