Accounting & Finance Professionals Hosting Networking Event in Phoenix on 9/23
Having trouble finding a job? Accounting & Finance Professionals is hosting a free networking event pairing job seekers and HR professionals in the valley for advice on new ways to find a job, resume and interview tips, and 30 second elevator speeches.
Phoenix, AZ, September 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Accounting and Finance Professionals, Inc., Phoenix Workforce Connections, and the Data Entry Institute to host a networking event on September 23.
The AZ Job Recovery Network is an event that gives job seekers the opportunity to get in front of hiring managers, professional recruiters, and decision makers in a casual networking environment where they are given the opportunity to give their 30 second elevator speech, get resume/job seeking/networking/interview advice, as well as hear speakers from the valley who are able to talk about some of the free resources out there for people out of work.
The event will be located at the Hilton Downtown Phoenix (Central and Thomas) on September 23 from 5:00-8:00. Parking is free (validated for the event) in the parking garage attached to the hotel. One block off of the light rail, as well. There will be food and happy hour drink specials.

Deanne Desautels, President of AFP, indicated "In today’s economy, job seekers are learning that the traditional method’s of finding a job are not working, but they are not sure how to use other avenue’s of hunting for a job.
