FutureCarbon at Composites Europe 2010 – Look Into High-Tech Super-Composites Live
At this year's Composites Europe show from September 14 through 16 in Essen FutureCarbon GmbH, the leading producer of super-composite materials, is presenting its latest solutions for heating systems in hall 10-11 on booth G36.
Bayreuth, Germany, September 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- CarboImpreg is a brand-new product from FutureCarbon based on carbon nanomaterials. It belongs to a family of products grouped around Carbo e-Therm, a high-efficiency electrically heated coating that will operate on non-hazardous low voltage. CarboImpreg will enable impregnation of rough or absorptive surfaces of materials such as leather to make these surfaces conduct. What's special about CarboImpreg is that it soaks into the material surface and will allow even warming of this surface by application of a suitable voltage (e.g. 12 or 24 volts).
Nor are the processing properties of the material altered – direct further processing is quite straightforward such as adhesion to plastic molded parts.
Interested companies and journalists are invited to arrange a meeting or interview. Just phone or e-mail FutureCarbon.
About FutureCarbon GmbH:
FutureCarbon specializes in the development and manufacture of carbon nanomaterials and their refinement into so called carbon supercomposites as primary products for industrial further processing. Carbon supercomposites are composite materials that evolve the special properties of carbon nanomaterials in the macroscopic world of real applications. All of our materials are manufactured on an industrial scale.
In addition to the electrically heated Carbo e-Therm and CarboImpreg coatings, the FutureCarbon portfolio includes a variety of materials with functionality specialized for electrical and mechanical characteristics.
Among them are:
CarboGran, a dry and dustfree granulate of carbon nanotubes with excellent dispersing characteristics that make it suitable for follow-up standard industrial processes without the effort of predispersion.
CarboFlex is a silicone resin characterized by superior elasticity plus high electric conductivity.
CarboCond is an electrically conductive epoxy resin that exhibits substantially improved mechanical properties through a special additive of carbon nanoparticles. It is suitable for all purposes calling for very high electric conductivity and mechanical ruggedness: antistatic flooring, coatings, ESD protective components, etc.
