12premium: 12designer's Crowdsourcing’s Evolution for Discerning Start-Ups

12designer.com launches today “12premium,” a feature to reach just the most experienced creatives for a design project

Berlin, Germany, September 15, 2010 --(PR.com)-- 12designer, the online agency for entrepreneurs and start-ups, ensures expertise by creating a new project type and seniority levels for creatives.

12designer’s revolutionary business model has left an unmistakable signature in Europe’s creative landscape: 9000+ creatives, 2000+ projects and 180000+ proposals in just a year and a half online. Crowdsourcing benefits have been there from its very beginning: wide range of ideas, a dynamic structure, and an effective and direct procedure between client and creative.

“But sometimes, besides this dynamism, expertise from senior creatives is required in particular projects where quality has to beat necessarily quantity,” states Eva Missling, 12designer’s CEO. From combining dynamism and expertise, 12designer launched today 12premium, an evolution in the widespread crowdsourcing model. 12premium widens the offer range with an “elite”-restricted project type, in which only the most experienced creatives are entitled to take part.

Who are the most experienced creatives? How are they going to be recognized? An algorithm to track and rate user’s activity at 12designer has been introduced: “With it, it’s possible to rank easily who made what and how often: points will be given by activity and results,” clears Missling.

Seniority levels will consist of 5 different categories: Newbie, Junior, Promise, Senior and Expert, being the last two levels those who will be allowed to take part in a 12premium project. Obviously, such an expertise takes its toll: publishing fee is 60€ net (significantly higher than the 24€ fee of a 12plus project), and prize has to be at least twice as much as the minimum prize stated in the category.

Fewer and accurate proposals to offer more quality in diversity to start-ups and companies: 12designer aims to evolve and push crowdsourcing forward into a new stage, in which dynamism and excellence shall interact with each other, ensuring in a communication or design project the best ideas from the best creatives.
