Uniastrum Increases Payment Card Spending Limits

The Bank is now offering loyal customers 25% more credit.

Moscow, Russia, September 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- In a targeted mail campaign, Uniastrum has sent out 8 thousand promotional letters to clients who use the Bank’s credit cards on a regular basis. Recipients have simply to sign the attached application and take it along to any Uniastrum banking center, together with their passport as proof of identify, and in just five working days their pre-approved credit amount is increased, providing that they have not fallen behind on credit payments.

Uniastrum’s special offer to extend payment card fixed limits is designed to benefit customers who use at least 80% of their overdraft facility and is open only to cardholders who receive one of the Bank’s promotional letters.

As of July 1, 2010 Uniastrum issued more than 782,000 Visa and MasterCards, some 72,000 of which came with an authorized overdraft. In H110 the lender’s plastic card portfolio expanded nearly 40%, tipping the scales at Rb 2.5 bn as of the reporting date.
