TiE Detroit Presents TiE20 Midwest Startup Awards
The Top 20 Enterprising Startups will be honored at TiECon Midwest 2010.
Farmington Hills, MI, September 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Detroit chapter of TiE also known as Talent, Ideas, Enterprise presents annual TiE Midwest 20 Startup Awards 2010 at TiECon Midwest annual conference to be held at The Henry Dearborn, October 28 and 29, 2010.
TiECon Midwest 2010 is an entrepreneurial conference, attracting hundreds of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and other professionals. TiE Midwest 20 Awards acknowledges excellence among 20 Early Stage Startups within four industry verticals: Internet, Software, Mobile, and Media. If you run or work at a Startup; or know of one that has a demonstrable Business Model, Innovation, Market Viability and be a value add to society, then nominate to be the next recipient of the elite TiE Midwest 20 Startup Awards. The last date for nominations is September 23, 2010.

TiE20 finalists will be selected by a combination of evaluations, screenings and judging by successful Entrepreneurs, Venture Capitalists, Domain Experts; and Public Polling. Voting is open to the public. In addition to the results of the public poll, the finalist companies will be judged on their product or service, market size and dynamics, leadership team, business model and progress since founding.
TiE20 winners will be honored with awards of excellence in front of several well established Entrepreneurs, Venture Capitalists, Industry Experts and other business professionals during TiEcon Midwest, October 28 - 29 at the Henry in Dearborn. Additionally, the TiE20 winners will present their companies in a live showcase at the conference and get special invitations to PowerConnect premium networking sessions. They will also be a part of the ongoing recognition from TiE Detroit throughout the year.
