Boston Cedar Adds a Well Respected Architectural Representative to Its Education and Training Team
In a continued effort to drive qualified sales through its base of independent lumber and building materials dealer partners, Boston Cedar is honored to announce that Garry Prevedini has joined the company in the capacity of Architect | Builder Specialist.
Holbrook, MA, September 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- In a continued effort to drive qualified sales through its base of independent dealer partners, Boston Cedar is honored to announce that Garry Prevedini has joined the company in the capacity of Architect | Builder Specialist. In this key role, Garry will act as an extension of the entire sales support team by recommending products and following through the transaction by actively participating in product installation techniques and beyond. Garry becomes the third member of the Boston Cedar Education Team to be engaged on a daily basis in driving product specifications, educating at all levels of the supply chain and presenting innovative solutions to the many challenges that today's architects, dealers and builders face.
Upon graduation in 1977 from the University of New Hampshire with a BS degree in Forestry, Garry began his career in the Lumber and Building Materials Industry with the Andersen Corporation. His initial role was that of a Technical Service Representative and Sales Trainee responsible for Southeastern Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Eastern Long Island. In 1981 Garry moved on and quickly established a name for himself at Brockway-Smith Company as a knowledgeable professional. His distinguished career at Brockway-Smith spanned 29 years in the capacity of Dealer Account Representative with a primary focus on Andersen products. Garry also acted as a key millwork resource for both architects and builders and in 1994 he was awarded The Howard C. Smith Jr. Achievement Award for his outstanding service to the company.
Garry is a long-term member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). Garry resides in Portsmouth RI with his wife, Laurie and teenage son, Tyler and is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, skiing, cycling and hiking.
