San Luis Obispo, CA, September 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Canidae Natural Pet Food Company announced today it will serve as title sponsor of the September 18, 2010 "Bark in the Park," the largest dog festival in the U.S. This fun, family-oriented event attracts more than 3,500 dogs and 15,000 people annually.
Hosted by the Naglee Park neighborhood’s Campus Community Association (CCA), Bark in the Park is a fundraising event with all proceeds benefiting the CCA, Humane Society Silicon Valley and the San Jose Animal Care Center. Highlights of the all-day event in William Street Park include contests, music, food, beverages, celebrities, performing dogs, demonstrations, dog-related vendors and services, a dog agility course, and activities for children. Admission is free, with a $5 donation per dog encouraged.
Canidae representatives will be on hand to offer attendees free samples and coupons for their line of healthy meat-based, holistic, natural dog food, cat food, and gourmet pet treats. Canidae will also offer helpful tips and advice on Responsible Pet Ownership to dog and cat owners.
