Dorman Financial Management volunteers at IDignity to help unfortunate residents obtain important state and federal documents which links them to critical services.
Maitland, FL, September 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Dorman Financial Management recently volunteered at IDignity to assist less fortunate denizens obtain important state and federal identification documents such as birth certificates, state IDs and Social Security cards. As part of their community outreach program, the firm assists local charitable groups quarterly throughout the year.

According to www.idignity.org, IDignity was created to help the disadvantaged in Central Florida overcome the difficulties of obtaining the personal identification that is crucial to enabling them to become self-sufficient. The documents that IDignity provides are necessary when applying for unemployment, school, social services, access to shelters and vote. IDignity provides service to over 200 clients; it requires over 100 dedicated volunteers and costs an average of $12,000 per event. Volunteers serve in a variety of roles including: greeting and introducing the process to clients and filling out the forms for clients at different ID stations.
