The Annenberg Center of the Performing Arts to Bring Back DanceBrazil in February 07
Philadelphia, PA, January 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Annenberg Center of the Performing arts is to host DanceBrazil, one of its most popular programs, in the February 1-3 period. DanceBrazil is a combination of martial art form of capoeira and electrifying dance, offering a soul-stirring experience for the audience.
DanceBrazil is part of the Dance Celebration Series that is offered throughout each and every year through the Annenberg Center of the Performing Arts. The Brazilian form of art is extremely popular in the Greater Philadelphia region as it combines Brazilian martial arts with exhilarating dance to provide a moving experience for the fans of arts and culture. DanceBrazil's 16-member company of musicians, capoeristas and dancers brings the vibrant culture of Bahia to the stage in a thrilling spectacle of color, sound, and movement. Performances will take place Thursday, February 1 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, February 2 at 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday, February 3 at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Zellerbach Theatre, Annenberg Center, 3680 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA. Tickets are $44, $38, and $32 for evening performances and $38, $34, and $29 for Saturday matinee.
