PostcardMania Sends Volunteers to Donate Blood for Blood Drive
PostcardMania CEO, Joy Gendusa, and several of her PostcardMania employees once again donate their time to their community by participating in a blood drive sponsored by The Church of Scientology.
Clearwater, FL, January 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Joy Gendusa, CEO of PostcardMania, and several of her employees showed up to donate blood Monday in a blood drive sponsored by The Church of Scientology. The blood drive, performed by the Florida Blood Services, took place on Garden and Franklin avenues from the hours of 9am – 4:30pm and over 25 people showed up to donate their blood to help others.
“I think this was a great thing to do,” said Joy Gendusa “and I know that it is needed. I love it when I see my staff participating in community activities - especially one as important as this is!”
The Church of Scientology has been participating in blood drives for Florida Blood Services for nearly 10 years. Throughout Pinellas and Hillsborough County, 600 pints of blood are needed every day to keep up with the demand.
