Hundreds of Fireflies Trapped in Fright Dome at Circus Circus
Fright Dome, the annual Halloween attraction that takes over The Adventuredome at Circus Circus, will feature some flashy new inhabitants this year. Adding a touch of whimsy to this terrifying event will be hundreds of glowing ‘Fireflies’ from Firefly Magic, the World’s leader in electronic faux firefly effects.
Las Vegas, NV, September 15, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Created from the mind of hauntrepreneur Jason Egan, Fright Dome at Circus Circus has been horrifying the masses every October since 2003. Egan’s 12 years in the industry and passion for all things terrifying culminate to make Fright Dome one of the top haunted attractions in the nation.
This year Egan was looking for something new, unique, and unusual for the entrance to one of his new haunted houses themed after My Bloody Valentine. As a result, he contacted Stephen Taylor, inventor of Firefly Magic Firefly Lights used in theme parks, zoos, nature centers, on-stage and even in movies. The patented micro controlled electronic lights accurately recreate the flashing, flickering and fading of Mother Nature’s real fireflies.
With thousands of guests wandering the chilling 5 acre attraction nightly, Egan is always looking for the latest and greatest special effects to add to the detail. The addition of little Firefly Magic ‘fireflies’ at the entrance to My Bloody Valentine creates the perfect counter-point when visitors board the mine elevator down to the bloody crime scenes below with the question . . . will they return?
