Local Gymnastics Academy Celebrates National Gymnastics Day with Local "Olympic Star Search" to Benefit Children's Miracle Network
Coast Elite Gymnastics Academy (CEGA) in Fort Myers has been building happy champions for more than 17 years. In observance of National Gymnastics Day, Coast Elite is providing local youth the opportunity to come in and test their skills, and to meet local Regional and National gymnastics champions, as well as Inaugural Nastia Liukin Cup competitor, Nikole Addison. Coast Elite is offering a unique opportunity for children to come in and participate in gymnastics activities.
Fort Myers, FL, September 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Coast Elite Gymnastics Academy (CEGA) in Fort Myers has been building happy champions for more than 17 years. In observance of National Gymnastics Day, Coast Elite is providing local youth the opportunity to come in and test their skills, and to meet local Regional and National gymnastics champions, as well as Inaugural Nastia Liukin Cup competitor, Nikole Addison.
Established in 1999, National Gymnastics Day is a platform to showcase the many benefits of gymnastics, as well as promotes the ideals of physical fitness and community service nationwide. Clubs and their gymnasts have the opportunity to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network through participation in the Tyson Fitness Challenge, a program designed to improve the fitness level of the nation’s youth and the platform for raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network.
Since partnering in 2001, USA Gymnastics and its gym clubs across the country have raised more than $1,000,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network through a variety of activities. National Gymnastics Day is celebrated by thousands of gymnasts and gymnastics clubs across the country. Legendary gymnastics coach Bela Karolyi is chairman of National Gymnastics Day.
Coast Elite is offering a unique opportunity for children to come in and participate in gymnastics activities. There will also be exhibitions by top local talent. Ribbons will be awarded to all participants. Door Prizes, bounce house, concessions and lots of fun for all.
Cost of the event is $10.00 per child, and will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.
