Joe Dalum Elected to Board of Directors for Green Organization
Newly formed Green Truck Association (GTA) Names Board of Directors.
Waukesha, WI, September 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Joe Dalum, president and chief executive officer of Odyne Systems, LLC, has been named to the Board of Directors for the Green Truck Association (GTA). Established in 2010 the GTA is an affiliate division of the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA). In response to a growing interest and demand for more green products and information in the work truck industry the GTA was created. The GTA’s objectives are to continue the progression of green work trucks though:
Showcasing green trucks and technology developments
Serving as the resource for regulatory and funding initiatives relevant to green truck development
Supplying market data and technical resources relevant to green truck development
Sharing timely news on green truck products and initiatives.
According to Doyle Sumrall, GTA’s Managing Director, “The work truck industry is taking a strong turn toward the development of green technologies and applications and we see a significant future for green truck products. The GTA is dedicated to becoming a vital resource in promoting these products, providing technical support and helping build market awareness and knowledge.”
Overall GTA’s goal is to help green companies expand their business and thrive in this progressive industry. The GTA Board of Directors will also be responsible for setting policy and developing strategies for the organization as well as in the development of programs and additional services.

Dalum has a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and a M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
