The Gallery at 764 West Hosts Photography Exhibition “Fotoseptembre”
The Gallery at 764 West Hosts “Fotoseptembre,” an art photography exhibition and sale for Laura McKenzie, Cindy Morawski, Irena Bowren, Stella Marroquin, Jean Longone, and Scott Jarisch. The exhibit will run through the month of September.
New Braunfels, TX, September 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Fotoseptembre exhibition features framed and matted photography by local artists. Laura McKenzie is a professional photographer at the Herald -Seitung in New braunfels Texas. McKenzie shows a montage of artistic prints. Cindy Morawski, primarily a pastel painter, exhibits her landscape photography. Irena Bowren, a painter, also shows her landscapes. Stella Marroquin, a painter and alternative media artist, exhibits silver gelatin prints. Jean Longone and Scott Jarisch contribute photographs showing the local area with it's rivers and scenery.

The Gallery at 764 West showcases original artwork in a wide assortment of media and styles including photography, oils, acrylics, watercolor, sculpture, pottery, digital arts, and mixed media. Artists from as far away as Denmark have shown at 764 West as well as talented up and coming local and regional artists. Known as the little gallery with exciting art, The Gallery at 764 West hosts a contemporary art show and sale twice a year in the spring and fall. In addition to The Gallery, 764 West also offers custom picture framing, artist supplies, frame and photo restoration, digital imaging and portrait commissions. Artists Scott Jarisch and Jean Longone opened 764 West L.L.C. in 1998 and have been active in seeking to expand the horizons of the New Braunfels community by bringing awareness to the arts and showcasing the many talented artists located in New Braunfels and elsewhere.
During the spring of 2011, oils and watercolors by award winning national artist, J. A. Baker, will be on display. WassailWest, a group art show and sale, will open on December 4, 2010. In the fall of 2011, Patti Schermerahorn, a Fiesta Poster artist will exhibit her award winning acrylic and oils. Chance Feldon is the featured artist in the spring of 2012. A wide variety of artwork in all media and styles by artists Scott Jarisch and Jean Longone are on rotating exhibit at The Gallery the rest of the year.
