Kids Wish Network (http://kidswishnetwork.org) founder Shelley Breiner announces the Brad Paisley Corvette Dream Giveaway where two corvettes will be given away to bring joy to children in crisis nationwide.
Holiday, FL, September 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Kids Wish Network (http://kidswishnetwork.org) founder Shelley Breiner announces the Brad Paisley Corvette Dream Giveaway. Driven by his passion for kids and cars, Brad Paisley teams up with Kids Wish Network and their Corvette Dream Giveaway program to give away two Corvettes. Proceeds help benefit the Kids Wish Network’s Hero program to bring joy to children in crisis nationwide.
In addition to being passionate about helping children, Brad Paisley has always been passionate about cars, particularly Corvettes. So, when Kids Wish Network offered him the chance to combine those two passions and become the spokesperson for their 2010 Corvette Dream Giveaway, he jumped at the chance.
Brad said “What could be better than helping lots of dreams come true for these deserving children, through a chance for Corvette enthusiasts to win their dream.”
“We are thrilled to have Brad working so closely with us on the Corvette Dream Giveaway. It is wonderful to see the smiles and pleasure he brings to kids,” says Shelley Breiner of Kids Wish Network http://kidswishnetwork.org/about-shelleybreiner.
For the third year in a row, Kids Wish Network is partnering with Dream Giveaways to give out two unique Corvettes to one randomly-selected winner. This year, the cars are a classically restored 1967 427 Corvette Roadster and a brand new one-of-a-kind 2010 Brad Paisley Hero Edition Corvette ZR1 finished in Ermine White with red touches to match its classic counterpart. The Hero ZR1 is authenticated with Brad Paisley’s autograph and accented by unique emblems. The lucky winner’s name will be drawn from the names of all Corvette Dream Giveaway (www.kidswishnetwork.org/winthevettes) ticket holders and announced on January 15, 2011.
The proceeds of the Corvette Dream Giveaway help benefit Kids Wish Network’s Hero program which is designed to bring smiles to the faces of children in crisis. The children given the title of “Hero” through this unique program are found in the care of hospitals, abuse shelters, homeless shelters and other pediatric care facilities, and are in desperate need of something to bring smiles back to their little faces that are too often stricken with fear, grief and pain. This is exactly what the “Hero” program accomplishes and it is also what Brad Paisley likes most about the Corvette Dream Giveaway: the fact that with the money raised by the Corvette Dream Giveaway, more children around the country will become official “Heroes.”
Brad Paisley, a country singer, became involved with Kids Wish Network in 2001, when as a rising star; a 13-year girl asked if she could meet him for her only wish from the national children’s charity. The girl’s name was Brandy and she was suffering from a life-threatening illness. When Brad Paisley heard about Brandy’s wish, he was ecstatic to grant it and the wish went better than Brandy and Brad could have ever expected. In fact, once he granted her wish, Brad was ready to reach out to help more children in need. Right after Brandy’s wish, he recorded a promotional video for Kids Wish Network to help spread awareness of their unique programs designed especially to help children in crisis. Over the years, he has continued to support the charity.
Kids Wish Network (http://kidswishnetwork.org), founded in 1997, is a national non-profit organization, dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children.
