OboMnenie, Russia’s Largest and Most Comprehensive Green/Holistic Sustainability Website Debuts New Database "EcoShop"

OboMnenie, http://www.obomnenie.com/, the most comprehensive green/holistic sustainability website in Russia has launched its green products and services database, EcoShop. The database is intended to open the Russian-speaking markets to the manufacturers of eco products and to stimulate exports of such products to Russia and the former Soviet states.

Miami, FL, September 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- OboMnenie, the largest green portal on the Russian internet, has launched a one-of-a kind Russian-language database, EcoShop, containing eco, healthy, organic and green products and services. EcoShop targets Russian-speaking distributors and importers in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and other former Soviet republics. Its goal is to open these health-conscientious markets of over 280 million people and over 60 million internet users to the new developments in green technology and green products.

"When we started OboMnenie we wanted to provide people in Russia with information on how they can live in a healthy and sustainable way," says Margarita Gokun Silver, one of the founders of OboMnenie. "Creating the database that will allow them to partake in the worldwide market of green products seemed to be the next logical step. The green and eco industry is just emerging in Russia, but people in the former Soviet Union have always been very predisposed to natural and healthy products. So it's a very ripe environment in which makers of green products can develop a very lucrative market." Russia is the R in BRIC and has one of the largest consumer markets in the world.

EcoShop does not charge any commission on business deals. Subscribers simply pay one low yearly subscription fee and receive a human translation of their company and products' listing into Russian with both Russian and English keywords for Russian SEO. EcoShop also promotes the customer’s listing via a large number of Russian social networks. People buy what they can read and the vast majority of Russian distributors don't speak any other language but Russian. Having a free access to the database that lists products of interest in their native language will create an easy opportunity for them to begin importing those products.

OboMnenie’s mission it to to help manufacturers of eco/health and green products/services enter the Russian-speaking market and create a win-win for both clients and manufacturers.
