LBLCO Partners with Minneapolis STEP-UP Summer Internship Program

Minneapolis, MN, September 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company, LLP partnered with the STEP-UP Summer Internship Program to hire three interns for the summer months (two high school graduates planning to attend college and one high school student entering her senior year). They welcomed Monica Riera, Breanna Latham, and Phitsavath Nantharath to assist in various departments within the firm.

STEP-UP, which is operated by AchieveMpls, partners with the Minneapolis community to allow high school students to gain experience by working for local employers during the summer. The students gain confidence; learn new skills; see the connection between school, work and post-secondary education; and prepare for a successful future.
