Rabine Group Begins Construction of their Pavement
The parking lot at the Rabine Group Schaumburg headquarters will display all of the different pavement designs that Rabine Paving offers.
Schaumburg, IL, September 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Rabine Group is excited for the completion of what will be a very unique parking lot. The paving crew started construction on Thursday, September 2 at the Rabine Group headquarters in Schaumburg. The layout was designed to exceed the needs of the parking lot, while acting as a Rabine Group Pavement Showcase.
Led by experts and in house world class engineers in the industry, Rabine Paving understands the various functions of each of the pavements and is using them to uphold the utility and appearance of the property. Although there will be multiple pavement types and thicknesses, there will only be two different surfaces: concrete and asphalt. This will ensure that the parking lot has an even look while taking advantage of each pavement’s benefits.
Among the different parking lot sections are pervious concrete, porous asphalt, stamped concrete and asphalt, full-depth concrete and asphalt and UltraLot Whitetopping. The Rabine Group differentiates itself from the competition by providing its customers with a variety of options, including the industry’s most advanced green pavements. The parking lot will display these environmentally friendly options and their benefits to the public.
Stamped asphalt and concrete resembles brick but is smoother and does not allow weeds to grow between cracks. Pervious concrete, the world’s most environmentally friendly pavement, and porous asphalt will eliminate the current surface water problem of the property by allowing water to seep directly through it. The full-depth concrete as well as UltraLot Whitetopping, a concrete overlay over prepared existing asphalt, look identical and have the same benefits. They are durable, long-lasting pavements with a green benefit. The reflective nature of concrete reduces site lighting cost by up to 40% as well as heat island effect, which allows for less energy to be used when heating or cooling the building. These pavements will all contribute to the parking lot’s design.
With a firm commitment to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction, the Rabine Group is a premiere service provider for paving, roofing, petroleum and other construction needs. Companies within the Rabine Group include: Rabine Paving, Rabine Paving America, UltraLot, Pavement Solutions, R. Commercial Roofing Solutions, Rabine Snow Pros, Pipeview, Palatine Oil Company and Rabine Residential.
