The Chairmen’s Roundtable Partners with Entrepreneurs’ Organization
EO San Diego and CRT team up to support local business community
San Diego, CA, September 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Chairmen’s RoundTable (CRT), a San Diego-based, non profit volunteer organization that provides gratis mentoring and business advice to CEOs and Presidents of local, private businesses, announced a formal alliance with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) San Diego, the local chapter of a global network of business owners.
Under this agreement, CRT and EO San Diego will actively cross-promote each other’s capabilities and community outreach, with a common goal of strengthening the San Diego business community.
“As the ‘entrepreneurial hotspot’ in San Diego, EO is thrilled to announce a strategic alliance with the Chairmen’s RoundTable (CRT) to offer our members a well-defined mentoring experience that will transform their business,” said Rob Martinez, past president of EO San Diego and chair of the CRT program. “This is an incredible opportunity to get strategic advice from veteran CEOs to identify key issues, develop a work plan and provide assistance in the implementation."
EO San Diego immediately found support for the alliance from within its membership. According to Martinez, several EO San Diego members are moving forward in the CRT process and a wait list has already formed with more than 20 members expected to be involved within the next year. Ron Harrell of MyOffice is an EO member and a former CRT client: “Going through the CRT program was a very enlightening experience,” said Harrell. “Their process of the initial interview questions, ongoing consultation to prepare for my presentation to the entire group of CRT members, then the feedback of the members worked extremely well and allowed me to see a bigger view of where my company was and what was possible. I came out of the program with a clear picture of the critical next steps, have implemented them and have doubled the size of my business and am on a 30% growth pace this year. If I could go through the process again, I would gladly take them up on it!”
"In San Diego, we are fortunate to have a number of terrific organizations that lend support to almost every aspect of our business community. Besides the weather, it's one of the best things about living and operating here," said Jeff Campbell, Chairman of the CRT. "And we are truly excited about our new partnership with EO. There is a natural fit between us and I believe that, with an application of just a fraction of the creativity that exists within our two organizations, we may just add a little more firepower to this great local support system."
