Red Fez Publications Announces Nominations for Best of the Web Anthology

Underground authors recently published at Red Fez Publications receive nominations in recognition of their outstanding work. Dzanc Books Best of the Web 2011 continues to promote online publications.

Toronto, Canada, September 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Red Fez Publications is pleased to announce their nominations for the 2011 Best of the Web Anthology produced by Dzanc Books.

In a continued effort to promote underground writing, the following writers have been nominated for the 2011 Best of the Web Anthology for their recent work published in Red Fez Publications— Margaret Karmazin, "At the Star Trek Convention"; Derek Richards, "blood fiction" and James Valvis, "After the Blade, the Blame."

Thirty-six stories and fifty-nine poems were considered for nomination. All of the entries were published online between November 1, 2009 and October 31, 2010. They can be read in the archives at www.redfez.net.

Submissions for the fourth volume of Best of the Web opened on September 15, 2010. Nominations are received from editors through October 31, 2010. The guest editor for Best of the Web 2011 is Adam Robinson with Matt Bell as series editor. The judging process will be complete by early January.
