RE/MAX Metro Chicago Real Estate Network's Hot Air Balloon Program Will Visit Coal City Elementary School on Oct. 14
Elgin, IL, September 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The RE/MAX metro Chicago real estate network has confirmed that its RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon will visit Coal City Elementary School, 300 N. Broadway, in Coal City, Ill., on Oct. 14. The balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed by the RE/MAX network using the hot air balloon as a teaching tool.
The 350 students at Coal City Elementary will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved, and they will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions. The RE/MAX balloon has visited more than 45 schools so far this year in northern Illinois. The balloon’s visit to Coal City has been arranged by Colleen Michalowski of RE/MAX Top Properties in Morris, Ill.
The program will be presented at 9:15 a.m. outdoors on the school grounds, weather permitting, but can be moved indoors if required. During the outdoor program the balloon envelope will be inflated with hot air to its full 75-foot height. When the program is presented indoors, the envelope is partially inflated with cool air and students have the opportunity to walk inside it.
