Gulf Anglers Can Look Forward to Added Snapper Season and Brett/Robinson Fishing Package

Gulf Shores, AL, September 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association has approved the inception of a second red snapper season for fall 2010, which will run from October 1st through November 22nd. Snapper fishing will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with a limit of two fish per person.

The purpose of the added fishing season is to allow anglers to fulfill the recreational red snapper quota, which fell short during the summer season, and to benefit charter boat businesses and the Alabama Gulf Coast economy in general.

Visitors in town for the snapper season will also have the option of booking a fishing package with Brett/Robinson. Guests can choose between a six-hour fishing trip at $85 per person or a four-hour fishing trip at $65 per person. Fees for both trips include a fishing license, fishing tackle, and bait.
