Circle of Care Network Offers Free Elder Care Law Seminars
In an effort to support our senior citizens and provide them with the education they need to make decisions, the Circle of Care Network, a consortium of West Michigan based professional groups has recently been organized.
Grand Rapids, MI, September 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- “One of the most important ways we can protect our senior citizens and their caregivers is to provide them with the information they need to make wise and informed decisions regarding the assets they have worked a lifetime to acquire,” said Echelbarger, Himebaugh, Tamm & Co. In an effort to support our senior citizens and provide them with the education they need to make decisions, the Circle of Care Network, a consortium of West Michigan based professional groups has recently been organized.
The Circle of Care Network consists of local West Michigan professional organizations dedicated to educating, preparing, and assisting families with life’s transitions. Through free seminars and presentations they provide information and resources to make life’s transitions go as smoothly as possible. Partners include Elder Law attorneys from Plachta, Murphy & Associates, P.C., Certified Public Accountants at the firm of Echelbarger, Himebuagh, Tamm & Co PC (EHTC), and representatives from Founder’s Bank & Trust. Brian J. Plachta will serve as the legal aid for the group, Robin Stoner, CPA/MST of EHTC will spearhead the tax and accounting side of the consortium, and John Logan of Founder’s Bank & Trust will address the banking issues.

As part of its fall educational series, the Circle of Care Network is holding a public educational dinner at no cost. The first event will be located at Pietro’s Italian Restaurant off 28th St SE in Grand Rapids on October 5th at 6:00 p.m. This event takes place in the private Garden Room and includes a complimentary pasta dinner, salad, breadsticks, and beverage. The seminar runs approximately 1 ½ hours including time for questions and answers. There is at no cost nor obligation, but reservations are required due to space limitations.

We hope that the Circle of Care educational offerings will in some small way help pay forward all they have given to us and the West Michigan community to protect and enhance their well-being,” said Plachta, Murphy & Associates, P.C.
