Bikini Bay is Giving Back - the Company Announces a Campaign to Raise Money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, September 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Bikini Bay will support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation with a campaign called “Draw the Line on Breast Cancer.” This fundraiser is in conjunction with the upcoming Run for the Cure of October 3rd 2010.
As a company with a workforce and clientele comprised mostly of women, Bikini Bay holds this cause close to its collective heart. United in sisterhood, Bikini Bay employees are taking a stand for their mothers, sisters, daughters, co-workers and friends.
Bikini Bay will be selling its pink chalk in all locations to invite runners to draw the line on breast cancer – the proceeds from the chalk will go to the Breast Cancer Foundation. They encourage donors to make their mark on a sidewalk, parking lot or driveway in honor of those who have lost a breast or their life to breast cancer.
Supported by an organization that values the struggles, challenges and contributions of women, each store manager will also personally join the fight against cancer. Each store manager is registered as a team captain in the Toronto Run for the Cure, and challenged to raise $1,000.00. Interested sponsors can visit www.bikini-bay.com and click on the breast cancer logo.
In addition, Bikini Bay will offer 45% off on their exclusive brand of yoga wear, mimi mango to all the runners registered in the Run for the Cure.
Bikini Bay is a family owned Canadian swimwear and yogawear company with 10 locations in the Greater Toronto Area as well as a store in Las Vegas. Bikini Bay strives to provide a rewarding shopping experience for clients by staying ahead of their evolving needs and providing outstanding customer service.
