Cornerstone Association, Inc. (CAI) is a community-based 501(c) 3/non-profit organization located in Clayton County, Georgia. Cornerstone Association has provided business development services to aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners in Georgia’s low-wealth communities since 2004. Their goal is to help build successful organizations with empowered people.
Georgia Micro Enterprise Network, Inc. (GMEN) is a private, not-for-profit organization established in 1997, which is dedicated to making a difference in the economic development of Georgia. GMEN includes a network of microenterprise development organizations (MDOs) that provide direct services to microentrepreneurs for business start-up, business growth, and access to capital. They create opportunities and support for microenterprise development as an avenue for economic self-sufficiency. They are an industry association of organizations and individuals who provide support for the development of microenterprises in the state of Georgia.
Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO) was founded in 1991. AEO is the only national membership association committed to micro enterprise development as an effective economic development strategy and a powerful poverty alleviation tool. AEO provides its members with a forum, information, and a voice to promote enterprise opportunity for people and communities with limited resources. AEO currently has a membership that stretches across the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico and includes all key agencies and organizations that provide micro enterprise services to disadvantaged micro entrepreneurs. The combined reach of these organizations exceeds 300,000 micro entrepreneurs and small business owners annually.
