Dave McIntyre and Chris Vocke, Chairman and President respectively, founded ShouldIWearThisOut.com in 2009. It started as a joke between two friends with absolutely “no eye for style.”
What’s more ironic than two guys intimidated by all-things fashion founding a fashion advice website? Especially, when considering that both guys possessed and still possess to this day, wardrobes that primarily consist of t-shirts and blue jeans. McIntyre and Vocke were not the ideal candidates to found a style counsel website… or were they?
McIntyre and Vocke thought, “Why not form a club where everyone is welcome, no velvet ropes, a place where fashion is friendly.”
This Is How It Works
ShouldIWearThisOut.com stresses simplicity. All users have to do is sign-up, take pictures of the outfit in question, and post the pictures to be voted upon. Nothing more, nothing less if fashion advisory is their aim.
However, ShouldIWearThisOut.com offers users the opportunity to partake of various other fun options, such as a fashion tip tabulator to share and save their stylish dos and don’ts, and a blog by the name of "SIWTO Says," maintained by SHouldIWearThisOut.com’s resident writers and guest bloggers alike providing words on fashion, pop culture and life.
