Octo Telematics Joins CVTA
Plymouth, MI, September 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA), is pleased to announce that Octo Telematics has joined its organization and Nino Tarantino has been elected to its Board of Directors. CVTA is a non-profit business league established to facilitate interaction and advance the interests of entities involved in the vehicle communication environment.

Nino Tarantino has been developing Octo’s business activities in North America and has more than two decades of experience in the global telecommunications industry with extensive experience building start ups and developing strategic business operations. As CEO of Acotel USA, Nino launched the first mobile premium messaging and consumer content services in North America. Prior to Acotel, he served as Vice President of Business Development for Anoto/Ericsson where he developed the U.S. market for the company’s revolutionary communication technology. Nino also led the global business development effort for Iridium/Motorola, establishing partnerships with wireless operators and resellers worldwide and held several product and business development positions within Telecom Italia Group. He received his MS from the University La Sapienza in Rome, Italy.
