She will help to support Grade Results accounts in Louisiana, a key growth state for the company. Ellison brings more than 20 years of experience in education and government affairs experience to her new position.
Ellison actively engages in national and international education matters through school planning and governance, community and legislative outreach and consultative work to education-based agencies.

In addition to her role with Grade Results, Ellison is owner and president of the Ellison Group, a New Orleans based education consulting firm. She is also director of governmental affairs for Gideon Christian Fellowship International where she manages governmental, community and education affairs at the local, state, national and international levels.
Ellison is a member of Project GRAD, Innovators of Milestone Inc., Algiers Charters School Association and the Black Alliance for Educational Options. She also facilitates training on community engagement in education and has obtained extensive legislative and lobbying experience through previous work as an administrator for the City of New Orleans.
Ellison holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern University at New Orleans.
