The "Anti-Cougar" Backlash Begins

Providence, RI, September 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- As the second season of hit television sitcom Cougar Town (ABC-TV) airs nationwide, the locally based Anti-Cougar Coalition (ACC) announces its national backlash campaign concerning the word, commonly used to describe women, typically 40 years of age or older who are involved in relationships with younger men. The ACC has created the new "I'm Not a Cougar" Website and downloadable rap anthem/MP3 file as well as logo-imprinted t-shirts, coffee mugs and mouse pads (see price details below).

Take a Stand
"The Anti-Cougar Coalition's movement aims to lose the label," says spokesperson Connie A. (Anti) Cougar. "Ladies, if you're sick of the hype and attention being paid to women, say 40 and over, then take a stand and become part of The Anti-Cougar Coalition: Download the anthem with your friends and show your support by wearing the t-shirts and start your own tradition of an anti-cougar girls night out. Let's lose the label and get behind a message whose time has come."

Ms. Anti Cougar continues:

You don't have to be a raging feminist to reject the practice of being labeled wildlife for just trying to live your life in whatever manner makes you happy.
