LatPro’s Hispanic & Bilingual Job Fair Returns to Dallas
Latpro’s Nationwide Career Fair Series, in conjunction with the National Society for Hispanic Professionals, visits the Dallas Convention Center on October 28.
Dallas, TX, September 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- LatPro (www.LatPro.com) and the National Society for Hispanic Professionals (www.nshp.org) encourage jobseekers who are Hispanic or bilingual, or who have other multicultural skills to attend a career fair at the Dallas Convention Center on Thursday, October 28th from 10am-3pm.
According to census bureau data dated 2006, more than 43 percent of Dallas’ residents identify themselves as Hispanic or Latino, which makes Dallas a prime location for the recruitment of diverse professionals, particularly those with Spanish-language abilities.
Many companies in the Dallas area are specifically looking for bilingual and other professionals in order to remain competitive in the global marketplace, as well as promote diversity within their organization. The LatPro job fair facilitates the introductions between Dallas area professionals, and the diversity-conscious employers who are seeking their talents.
“Dallas is an area rich with Hispanic professionals as well as competitive diversity-conscious employers. Our career fair is a perfect match for the Dallas area; resulting in great opportunities for employers and jobseekers alike,” said event manager, Ricardo Villalba.
Jobseekers attending the 2010 Dallas Diversity Career Fair will have the opportunity to network with fellow Hispanic professionals and local chapters of Latino organizations, in addition to meeting representatives from prestigious employers including Capital One, Cook Children’s Healthcare, Coca-Cola Enterprises, and Prudential.
Admission is free for all jobseekers. Professional dress is required. Jobseekers can pre-register at: http://network.nshp.org/events/dallas-job-fair-1
