Wright to Play in National Underclassmen Combine All-World Game
Mahwah, NJ, September 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Renowned running back Brandon Wright of Las Vegas, NV announced he will participate in the National Underclassmen Combine's All World Game.
The diverse Wright is rated the sixth best all-purpose back in the nation by Rivals.com. At 5'10 173, Wright dominated during the 2009 season, winning Overall MVP at the Ultimate 100 Camp, Combine King at the Las Vegas Event and was dubbed as a great talent during the inaugural Top Prospect Camp. Wright is currently fielding ten D1 offers from top programs such as Colorado, Arizona State, Utah and California amongst others.
"Wright was phenomenal in 2009 and I have no doubt he would have been amongst the best running backs had he attended an event this year," said NUC CEO & President David Schuman. "He's got all of the tools to go a very long way and few can compete with him from a pure athleticism standpoint."
The NUC All-World Gridiron Classic will showcase 114 elite high school seniors from all across the globe in a unique All-Star Game. Players from the two squads, Team NUC & Team World, will be drafted from the ground up by the coaching staff to ensure a level playing field.
There will also be a full week of events leading up to game day for select All-World Underclassmen including 7 on 7's, linemen challenges and a combine.
The NUC All-World Gridiron Classic kicks off from Columbia, SC at The Citadel's Johnson Hagood Stadium Friday, December 31, 2010 at 6 pm ET. Broadcast and ticket information will be announced shortly.
