Hours for the show are Noon to 9:00 PM on Friday, 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, and 11:00 AM to 6:00 on Sunday. Admission to the show is $4.00, children under 18 are admitted free. The show offers the opportunity to find the products and expertise to remodel and update a home and yard. The attendee can explore hundreds of exhibits featuring cabinets, windows, flooring, saunas, spas, security systems, and outdoor architecture and landscape lighting. While at the show, stop at the NiteLites exhibit and let Roger Blair and his staff show you their spectacular collection of photos of homes and landscapes that have extended their outdoor living area with a NiteLites lighting system. They will also share the many advantages of NiteLites high quality, specification grade, low voltage lighting systems.
For years NiteLites has been an industry leader in the production and installation of low voltage outdoor landscape lighting with specialization in both residential and commercial design, installation, and service. NiteLites provides a wide variety of outdoor lighting including: architectural lighting, landscape and garden lighting, deck and patio lighting, submersible lighting, and path lighting.
Low voltage lighting saves energy and offers benefits not available with line voltage lighting. Low voltage lighting, by definition, operates at 30 volts or less. A transformer, integral or remote, converts line voltage (120V) to either 12 or 24 volts. When powered properly, low voltage lighting can produce two-and-a-half times as much light as line voltage incandescent lamps. In other words, a 50-watt low voltage lamp generates as much light as a 125-watt line voltage lamp.
Low voltage outdoor lighting is easier to install, causing less disruption to the landscape. Other reasons to consider low voltage lighting include: superior light quality, design flexibility, safety, and energy efficiency. Light pollution is a growing problem in many areas throughout the United States. By maintaining an even glow on the focal point rather than the glaring lights produced by high voltage lighting, NiteLites provides the added elegance of lighting while protecting our skies from intrusive “over lighting”.
NiteLites fixtures are designed to control glare, many of their fixtures are shielded to direct the light either downwards, or directly toward the item being lighted. They are also energy efficient; they minimize lighting trespass; they provide great nighttime ambiance; and they use only 12 Volts of electricity so there is minimal impact on artificial glow.
Even if low voltage lighting weren’t energy efficient, it would still be specified for commercial space, since no other type of lighting can duplicate its light quality. Low voltage systems can deliver the desired ambience for the environment. The ability to make lighting inconspicuous, and even transparent, rates as important design criteria for a Green program, and for NiteLites. The package of benefits that low voltage lighting offers for enhancing commercial and residential environments deserves consideration for a range of applications.
One of the most rewarding applications of outdoor landscape lighting is in the garden. Pathways, ponds, statues, trees, and shrubs all produce a serene environment when landscape lighting is applied. NiteLites professionals are experts in producing this type of effect. By using different techniques, they can create a different and more dramatic look for a client’s property.
