College Graduates Find New Job Opportunities Through SkillStorm Sales Training Program
Graduates publicly announced for the third SPEED class, a six-week all-expenses paid sales training program hosted by SkillStorm, a national technical consulting firm
San Diego, CA, September 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- SkillStorm today announced the third graduating class of the SPEED training program. SPEED, the SkillStorm Program for Extreme Educational Development, is a highly competitive, intense sales training program where the top ten candidates compete for a Technical Recruiter position in one of six SkillStorm branches nationwide. Five trainees successfully completed the extensive six-week training program and have been offered full-time recruiter positions in the San Diego, Tampa, Jacksonville and Dallas SkillStorm offices.
“Our latest group of SPEED trainees is truly exceptional—they were filling open job positions by their fourth week of training! If their performance during the course is any indication of how well they’ll do with SkillStorm, then we can expect big things from these SPEED graduates. This program was designed to highlight the most energetic, highly motivated and competitive college graduates out there and it certainly has,” said SkillStorm CEO Vince Virga.
The SPEED graduates include Maya Barabara from California State University – Long Beach; Toni Rice from Clemson University; Tim Fraher from Emory University; and Brandon Serraille from Alabama A&M University. The graduates underwent six weeks of rigorous sales and recruiter training that combined lecture-style sessions with hands-on field experience. SkillStorm covered all training expenses including travel costs to the training site in San Diego, lodging, food, a weekly salary and performance bonuses.
The next SPEED training class is scheduled to begin on February 21, 2011 in San Diego, California. The timing of the upcoming SPEED class presents a perfect employment opportunity for winter college graduates who will face a competitive job market next year. SPEED serves as an ideal career development tool where college graduates gain sales experience in a fun and rewarding environment during a time when the college graduate job market is still low due to the recovering economy. Interested applicants for future classes should complete the free SPEED Personality Assessment at http://www.SkillStorm.com/SPEED to be considered for the program.
