TGAA Tour to Play TOC Invitational at ClubCorp-Managed The Currituck Club in Corolla, NC

Gainesville, VA, September 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Building on its success as the premier Pro-Net Tour in the Mid-Atlantic, the Tournament Golf Association of America is proud to announce it has reached an agreement with the ClubCorp managed property, The Currituck Club in Corolla, NC, to host the TGAA Tour’s Tournament of Champions Invitational November 13-14, 2010.

Details of the partnership include the playing of this two-day, thirty-six hole prestigious event at the Rees Jones designed, semi-private Currituck Club (a ClubCorp managed property) in Corolla, NC as well as hosting player parties and post-event awards banquet.

Steve Moses, the tour’s Chief Operating Officer, discusses the partnership – “We are very proud of the partnership we have developed with ClubCorp and are thrilled to have The Currituck Club host the TGAA Tournament of Champions Invitational. As this is a “Winners Only” event, The Currituck Club is the perfect host in a great community. The Currituck Club, as well as members of the local business community, are combining their efforts and making this a first class event. In these difficult economic times, the TGAA Tour values giving back and helping support the local businesses of each city that hosts a tour event. No matter the time of year, the Outer Banks is a great family-friendly location. That was a very important decision as many of our members bring family and guests to our major events. Our players are every bit as excited as The Currituck Club and the local Corolla community to have this event.”

Moses continues – “Through our relationship with Chris Rucker (Mid-Atlantic Regional Director of Sales), we have been able to join forces and bring the TGAA Tour to some of their finest managed properties in Virginia, including The Club at Viniterra (New Kent, VA) and Piedmont CC (site of the opening round of the 2010 TGAA Tour Championship). We look forward to this continued partnership with ClubCorp and anticipate other properties hosting TGAA Tour events in the future.”
