Far Flung Outdoor Center Selects Resmark Tour Operator Software for Continued Business Expansion
Resmark Systems announces new client relationship with Far Flung Outdoor Center in Terlingua, Texas
Salt Lake City, UT, October 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Resmark Systems, comprehensive tour operator software created by tour operators, announced that Far Flung Outdoor Center in Terlingua, TX, has selected Resmark software to manage their expanding outdoor recreation business. Far Flung offers river rafting, canoeing, ATV and Jeep rentals, as well as guided hiking tours and lodging in the Big Bend National Park.
Greg Henington, owner/operator, Far Flung Outdoor Center and former president of America Outdoors Association, said that prior to Resmark, Far Flung was using out-dated software for which functionality and technology support were issues.
“We needed a system that was fully automated with an online reservation system; that was paramount,” said Henington. “But we also needed an easier way to view our database and stay in touch with our customers because much of our business is repeat customers.”
He said Far Flung chose Resmark because of their experience in the tour operator market and because the software is offered as a service.
“I liked Resmark because I did not have to buy expensive hardware and I don’t have to worry as much about the system going down and not being able to do business,” he added.
