North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association Donates $10,000 to N.C. Museum Of Natural Sciences
Statewide Association of Veterinarians to Serve as Lead Sponsor For Animal Grossology Exhibit
Raleigh, NC, October 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (NCVMA) (http://www.ncvma.org) has announced that it has donated $10,000 to the Friends of the NC Museum of Natural Sciences and will serve as lead sponsor for the museum’s Animal Grossology exhibit. The NCVMA’s contribution is part of its High Five Grant Program. The exhibition opens Saturday, Oct. 2 and will run through April 24, 2011. It will take a unique and scientific look at animals' most disgusting yet essential habits.
Through the High Five Grant Program, the NCVMA will distribute $125,000 over a five-year period (2011-2015) to qualified organizations that promote community service in North Carolina and show compassion for the people and animals of North Carolina.
