Engaging Skills-Based Volunteers Workshop

Arlington Heights, IL, October 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago (TVC) will be hosting an Engaging Skills-Based Volunteers Workshop on Wednesday, October 13, part of the Advanced Volunteer Management Training Series.

Who: Nonprofit organizations, volunteer managers and program directors

What: The Volunteer Center of NW Suburban Chicago will summarize trends in skills-based volunteering (SBV) designed to help nonprofits assess their needs and increase overall program impact through SBV integration. There will be a panel of pro bono volunteers with backgrounds in project management, finance, marketing, technology and human resources to answer questions and identify ways they can support nonprofits.
