Tasha Smith Graces the Cover of Ashes for Beauty Magazine's Premiere Issue
Chicago, IL, October 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- “It’s about putting your dreams in motion; and utilizing all the different dimensions of who you are to accomplish what God has put you on this earth to do,” stated Tasha Smith, when asked about her forthcoming book, Inspired to Act. Ashes For Beauty Magazine, a new publication for Christian women with the mission to “Transform the Lives of Women One Page at a Time,” caught up with the actress to discuss destiny, her forthcoming movie project with Bishop T.D. In addition to authoring a book, Tasha is also starring in the much anticipated movie, Jumping the Broom. Set to be released Mother’s Day 2011, the film (produced by Bishop T.D. Jakes) stars Angela Bassett, Loretta Devine, Paula Patton, Mike Epps, and Laz Alonzo, amongst others.
When Tasha’s not acting she’s coaching aspiring actors with her Tasha Smith Acting Workshops in Los Angeles, CA. As if that’s not enough, Tasha’s love for praise and worship, has also led to her latest music venture- producing artist Holy Boy’s single, So Good. When asked about the project, Tasha exclaimed, “I love worship and along with my acting school I’m forming a management company with my soon to be husband…when I met with Holy Boy, I just loved his music, I loved his worship, and I just got an opportunity to be apart of this project.”
