Denver, CO, October 03, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Families of Fallen Colorado Soldiers Receive Financial Help from SEAKR Foundation
The SEAKR Foundation announces the remembrance of our fallen soldiers and the celebration of their families at their first annual gala and silent auction on October 8, 2010 at the Curtis Hotel, Denver. Yearly, the Foundation disperses from $192,000 - $350,000 to families of Colorado soldiers who have given their lives in the support of freedom.
Military families often find themselves struggling with the loss of a loved one and the loss of their primary source of income. The SEAKR Foundation supplements the small income the government provides and helps families keep some sense of normalcy in the wake of such tragedy. The Foundation currently gives support to 9 families and the dinner and silent auction hopes to raise $50,000 to further assist Colorado military families. Guest speakers include Carl Sutter, former chaplain for the Chicago Bears and Retired USAF Reservist Dennis Hoffman, author and business coach.
“Having retired from the Air Force after 28 years of service, I have a deep place in my heart for the military. The SEAKR Foundation came into existence when I learned of the financial plight that many military families find themselves in when their loved one dies in action. My company and my family receive great satisfaction from being able to help these families succeed,” said Ray Anderson, CEO SEAKR Engineering and Founder of the SEAKR Foundation.
