John Mayer's Continuum Tops Musicbox-Online.com's List of Readers' Favorites During 4th Quarter 2006

Oak Park, IL, January 11, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Popular magazine The Music Box has released the ranking of its readers' favorites for the fourth quarter of 2006.  Topping the list is John Mayer's Continuum.  Trailing the album are Bob Dylan's Modern Times, Neil Young's Live at the Fillmore East, and Ray LaMontagne's Till the Sun Turns Black.  Said The Music Box's founder John Metzger, "Our goal always has been to cover a wide array of music without limiting ourselves to a specific genre.  The eclectic nature of this list, which includes classical, blues, country, soul, and rock recordings, provides further proof that music needn't be constrained by industry-determined marketing niches."  These rankings are compiled from sales and traffic statistics through The Music Box's web site.
