"Halloween Masquerade" Fundraiser to Benefit the Brooklyn Children’s Theatre Scholarship Fund
Brooklyn, NY, October 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Brooklyn Children’s Theatre (BCT) will be hosting their 3rd annual fundraiser, Halloween Masquerade, to benefit the Brooklyn Children’s Theatre Scholarship Fund on Saturday, October 16 at St.Saviour’s Church in Brooklyn. 100% of the proceeds will go to benefit the BCT Scholarship fund.
In its 7th year, Brooklyn Children’s Theatre offers performing arts programs to Brooklyn school children between the ages of 6-16. 25% of BCT’s students are on full or partial scholarship.
“With the poor economy, our scholarships have gone to many children whose parents find themselves currently unemployed and who are attending schools that are not able to offer performing arts programs due to budget cuts. BCT’s performing arts programs offer these kids an artistic outlet and a consistency that they can count on in otherwise unsettling times,” said Brooklyn Children’s Theatre Co-Founder - Executive Director, Amy Graves. “We would love for everyone to attend our Halloween Masquerade! This is a terrific family-friendly event that the Brooklyn community will benefit from.”
