New Crestron Green Light® Integrated Lighting Systems Now Shipping
Crestron GLPAC Compact Dimming System Now Available.
Rockleigh, NJ, October 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Crestron today announced the new GLPAC-DIMFLV Integrated Lighting Systems are now available. Stand-alone lighting controllers for classrooms, conference rooms, and offices, GLPACs directly connect to keypads and touch panels for easier integration and an enhanced user experience. GLPACs control four to eight channels of dimmable or switched fluorescent loads, and each unit can control a single room or up to four independent rooms. GLPACs can also be tied into a centralized Crestron system for facility-wide control and monitoring. Ethernet connectivity enables optional real-time power consumption tracking with Viridian™ energy management software, which provides invaluable data to maximize energy efficiency throughout the facility.
"GLPAC is an all-in-one lighting solution designed for quick and easy setup, no programming required," explained Vincent Bruno, Crestron Director of Marketing. "GLPAC delivers a powerful, complete lighting solution in a small, affordable package, ideal for new construction and retrofits. A single GLPAC can be used to control multiple lighting zones in one to four rooms. With that one small unit, you get switching and dimming, daylight harvesting and occupancy sensing."
Built-in support for occupancy sensors, photocells and shade control enable substantial energy saving capabilities. Automatically shut lights off and adjust the HVAC in unoccupied areas. Daylight harvesting provides an efficient balance between artificial and natural light, achieving significant energy savings along with an enhanced work environment. The optional power monitoring tracks real-time energy use of each load. Report generation provides the data that enables organizations to make the most effective, educated decisions regarding energy resource management.
A preloaded program for single-room control provides quick and easy setup with no additional configuration; just connect your laptop. Multi-room control, other system adjustments and specialized applications are made simple with GLPAC Designer software.
