Robert Ramseur Has Been Appointed Nation's Chief for Y Guides & Princesses for the Triangle
Raleigh, NC, October 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Ragsdale Liggett PLLC announces that Robert J. Ramseur, Jr., Attorney, Partner and Chair of the firm’s Residential Real Estate Department, has been appointed as the Nation’s Chief of the Y-Guides and Y-Princesses Programs of the YMCA of the Triangle.
The Y-Guides and Y-Princesses Program of the YMCA of the Triangle is the largest such father-child program in the United States, serving more than 13,000 dads and children throughout Wake, Durham, Johnston and Lee counties. The purpose of the program is to develop and foster the father-child relationship through action-oriented activities, allowing fathers to spend quality one-on-one time with their children.
As the Nation’s Chief, Mr. Ramseur will chair the Y-Guides and Y-Princesses Nation’s Officer Board, who advise and lead the staff. His primary responsibility will be to design and implement the annual Challenge for the Nation as well as leading the “WeBuildPeople” service project—a campaign which raises funds for families who cannot otherwise afford YMCA services and summer camps.
