Class ‘C’ Entertainment Presents a Chicago New Year’s Eve Spectacular Event
Chicago, IL, October 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- On New Year's Eve, December 31, 2010, the 7th Annual "Dinner & A Movie' will be held at the Sheraton Gateway Suites in Rosemont, IL near Chicago's O'Hare Airport. The theme for the event will be 'Women Coming Together'. The New Year’s Eve 2011 “Dinner & A Movie” event, a relaxing overnight getaway for a few hundred women who love women exclusively presented by Class 'C' Entertainment of Chicago, IL, features luxurious accommodations, a welcome reception/mix & mingle, candlelight dinner, lesbian movies played on a big screen and a dance party at the end of the evening.
This year Class 'C' Entertainment returns the New Year’s Eve 2011 “Dinner & A Movie” event to the Sheraton Gateway Suites Chicago O'Hare, 6501 N. Mannheim in Rosemont, IL, for the second year at this hotel. The festivities begin at check-in to the hotel at 3pm on Friday, December 31, 2010. The dinner and movie begin at 6pm in the grand ballroom of the hotel, which will accommodate about 120 women. Prime Rib and a Pasta Buffet are the choices for dinner. During dinner, guests will watch a collection of short films relating to lesbian of color experiences written, produced and directed by several of the nation's lesbian of color filmmakers.
Class 'C' Entertainment is expecting nearly 500 women later that night for the New Year’s Eve celebration since Chicago Gay & Lesbian Hall of Fame's Pat McCombs and Vera Washington, co-founders of Executive Sweet [a “traveling club” for women of color] will be returning as hostesses for the third year. Musical selections will be provided by SUNDANCE (formerly with Chicago radio station V-103), Chicago's tightest female DJ.
The celebration begins at 10pm on Friday, December 31, 2010 and the party goes on till 3am New Year's Day. But wait, it's not over. On Saturday afternoon, January 1, 2011, Class 'C' Entertainment will announce a few nationally acclaimed guest speakers to share in dialogue about "Women Coming Together" then a splash party, some casino, board and card games and later that evening a variety/comedy hour featuring some of Chicago's hottest up and coming talent. Still more, to top off Saturday evening, there is the Capricorn party also hosted by Chicago Gay & Lesbian Hall of Fame's 'Pat & Vera' and with more music by SUNDANCE, Chicago's tightest female DJ.

About The Company:
Class ‘C’ Entertainment was founded to create a variety of entertainment events for a previously under-served LGBT audience. The objective is to create new activity channels that call for the planning of a wide variety of entertainment.
Class ‘C’ Entertainment is an event planning service company that strives to provide a classy alternative to the mainstream amusement outlets among LGBT peers. Class ‘C’ Entertainment accomplishes this goal by understanding the desires of the LGBT community, identifying and creating new events, and thus, evolving the occurrence of alternative amusement. The first channel that Class ‘C’ Entertainment has developed for the LGBT community by the LGBT community is "Dinner & A Movie."
In 2003, the concept of 'Dinner & A Movie' was conceived while contemplating a totally new, upscale event idea to entertain a group of women longing for a change. Carol loves dining out and watching lesbian/gay films, but they are rarely shown in Chicago area theatres. So the thought came about that it would be great to show a lesbian/gay movie and have a full meal served to guests in one place, at the same time. This was Carol Harris' idea, being the founder of Class 'C' Entertainment.
